HOW IT CURES.
The secondary indicaticn of RADWAYâS READY
RELIEF is to cure the patient of the disease or ma-
lady that occasions the pain; this it accomplishes
rapidly and radically. So swift is the patient trans-
formed frem pain, misery, weakness, and decrepi-
tude to the delightful enjoyment of health and
strength, that patients frequently ascribe its talis-
manic power ty the supernatural influence of en-
chanuneat.

infection which we
call Scrorvis lurks
in the constitutions of
mnultitudes of men. It
either produces or is
produced by an en-
„âfeebled, vitiated state
âof the blood, wherein
that fluid becomes in-
-ompetent to sustain
he vital forces in their
* vigorous action, and
ââ=sleaves the system to
fall into disorder and
decay. The scrofulous contamination is va-
riously caused by mercurial disease, low
living, disordered digestion fr9m unhealthy
food, impure air, filth and âfilthy habits,
the depressing vices, and, above all, by
the venereal infection. Whatever be its
origin, it is hereditary in the constitution,
descending âfrom parents to children unto
the third and fourth generation; â indeed, it
seems to be the ro@ of Tlim who says, âI will
visit the iniquities of the fathers upon their
children.â âThe diseases it originates take
various names, according to the organs it
attacks. In the lungs, Scrofula produces
tubercles, and finally Consumption; in the
glands, swellings which suppurate and be-
come ulcerous sores; in the stomach and
bowels, derangements which produce indi-
gestion, dyspepsia, and liver complaints; on
the skin, eruptive and cutaneous affections.
These, all having the same origin, require the
same remedy, viz., purification and invigora-
tion of the blood. Purify the blood, and
these dangerous distempers leave you. With
feeble, foul, or corrupted blood, you cannot
have health; with that âlife of the fleshâ
healthy, you cannot have scrofulous discase.
Ayerâs Sarsaparilla
is compounded from the most effectual anti-
dotes that medical science has discovered for
this afflicting distemper, and for the cure of
the disorders it entails. That it is far supe-
rior to any other remedy yet devised, is
known by all who have given itatrial. That
it does combine virtues truly extraordinary
in their effect upon tis class of complaints,
is indisputably proven by the great multitude
of publicly known and remarkable cures it
has made of the following diseases: Kingâs
Evil, or Glandular Swellings, Tumors,
Eruptions, Pimples, Blotches and Sores,
Erysipelas, Rose or St. Anthony's Fire,
Salt Rheum, Scald Head, Coughs from
tuberculous deposits in the lungs, White
Swellings, Debility, Dropsy, Neuralgia,
a or Indigestion, Syphilis and
Syphilitic Infections, Mercurial Diseases,
Female Weakn and, indeed, the whole
series of complaints that arise from impurity
of the blood. Minute reports of individual
cases may be found in AyeRâs AMERICAN
AtMAnac, which is furnished to the druggists
for gratuitous distribution, wherein may be
learned the directions for its use, and some
of the remarkable cures which it has made
when all other remedies had failed to afford
relief. Those cases are purposely taken
from all sections of the country, in order
that every reader may have access to some
one who can speak to him of its benefits from
personal experience. Scrofula depresses the
vital energies, and thus leaves its victims far
more subject to disease and its fatal results
than are healthy constitutions, Hence it
tends to shorten, and does greatly shorten,
the average duration of human life. The
vast importance of these considerations has
led us to spend years in perfe:ting a remedy
which is adequate to its cu This we now
offer to the public under the name of Arrrâs
SARSAPARILLA, although it'is composed of
ingredients, some of which exceed the best
of Sarsaparilla in alteragive power. By its
aid you may protect y If from the suffer-
ing and danger of these disorders. Purge
out the foul corruptions that rot and fester
in the blood, purge out the causes of disease,
and vigorous health will follow. By its pecu-
liar virtues this remedy stimulates the vital
functions, and thus expels the distempers
which lurk within the system or burst out
on any part of it.
We know the public have been deceived
by many compounds of Sarsaparilia, that
promised much and did nothing; but they
will neither be deceived nor disappointed in
this. Its virtues have been proven by abun-
dant trial, and there remains no question of
its surpassing excellence for the cure of the
afflicting diseases it is intended to reach.

different medicine from any other which has

DIARRH@A and CHOLERA, by removing the
sharp acrid fluids by which these complaints are oc.
of the mucuous membrane.
FEVERS of all kinds, by restoring the blood tos

The Lire Mepicives have been known to eure
Rheumatism permanently in three wecks, and Gout
in half that time, by removing local inflammation
from the muscles and ligaments of the joints,
Dropsies of all kinds, by freeing and strengthen-
ing the kidneys and bladder: they operate most de-

worst cases of Gravel.
Also Worms, by dislodging from the turnings of
the bowels the slimy matter tv which these creatures
adhere,
Asthma and Consumption, by relieving the sit
vessels of the lungs from the mucous which even
slight colds will occasion, and which, it not removed,
becomes hardeued, and produces those dreadful dise
eases.
Scurvy, Ulcers and Inveterate Sores, by the perfecâ
purity which these LIFE MEDICINES give to the
blood, and all the humors.

alternative effect upon the fluids that feed the skin,
and the morbid state of which occasions ail erup-
tive complaints, sallow, cloudy, and other disagree-
able complexions.
The use ot these Pills for a very short time will
effect an entire cure of Salt Rhewm, and a striking
improvement in the clearness of the skin. Common
Colds and Influenza will always be cured by one
dose, or by two even in the worst cases.
PILES. As a remedy for this most distressing
and obstinate malady, the VEGETABLE LIFE ME-
DICINES deserve a distinct and emphatic recom-
mendation. It is well-known to hundreds in this
city, that the former preprietor of these valuable
Medicines was bimself afilicted with thie complaint
for upwards of THIRTY-FIVE YEARS, and that he tried
in vain every remedy prescribed within the whele
compass of the Materia Medica. He, however, at
length tried the Medicine which is now offered to tha
public, and Le was cured in a very short time, after
his recovery had been pronounced not only impro-
bable, but absolutely impossible, by eny Luman
means.
FEVER AND AGUE,.
For this seourge of the western country these Me
dicines will be found a safe, speedy, and certain re«

âKuneâs Evin and Scrorvua, in its worst forms,

markable Medicines. Niaur Sweats, Nexvous De-
BILITY, Nervous CompuLaints of all kinds, Pauri-
TATION OF THE Meant, PaintenâsCoxic, are specdily
cured.
MERCURIAL DISEASES.
Persons whose constitutions have become impal
by the injudicious use of Mercury, will find these
Medicines a perfect cure, as they never fail to ef
dicate from the system all the effects of Mercury
infinitely sooner than the most powerful prepara
tions of Sarsaparilla. A single trial will place them
beyond the reach of competition, in the estimation
ot every patient.

The secondary indicaticn of RADWAYâS READY

lady that occasions the pain; this it accomplishes
rapidly and radically. So swift is the patient trans-
formed frem pain, misery, weakness, and decrepi-

strength, that patients frequently ascribe its talis-
manic power ty the supernatural influence of en-
chanuneat.

infection which we
call Scrorvis lurks
in the constitutions of
mnultitudes of men. It
either produces or is
produced by an en-
„âfeebled, vitiated state
âof the blood, wherein
that fluid becomes in-
-ompetent to sustain
he vital forces in their
* vigorous action, and
ââ=sleaves the system to
fall into disorder and
decay. The scrofulous contamination is va-
riously caused by mercurial disease, low
living, disordered digestion fr9m unhealthy
food, impure air, filth and âfilthy habits,
the depressing vices, and, above all, by
the venereal infection. Whatever be its
origin, it is hereditary in the constitution,
descending âfrom parents to children unto
the third and fourth generation; â indeed, it
seems to be the ro@ of Tlim who says, âI will
visit the iniquities of the fathers upon their
children.â âThe diseases it originates take
various names, according to the organs it
attacks. In the lungs, Scrofula produces
tubercles, and finally Consumption; in the
glands, swellings which suppurate and be-
come ulcerous sores; in the stomach and
bowels, derangements which produce indi-
gestion, dyspepsia, and liver complaints; on
the skin, eruptive and cutaneous affections.
These, all having the same origin, require the
same remedy, viz., purification and invigora-
tion of the blood. Purify the blood, and
these dangerous distempers leave you. With
feeble, foul, or corrupted blood, you cannot
have health; with that âlife of the fleshâ
healthy, you cannot have scrofulous discase.
Ayerâs Sarsaparilla
is compounded from the most effectual anti-
dotes that medical science has discovered for
this afflicting distemper, and for the cure of
the disorders it entails. That it is far supe-
rior to any other remedy yet devised, is
known by all who have given itatrial. That
it does combine virtues truly extraordinary
in their effect upon tis class of complaints,
is indisputably proven by the great multitude
of publicly known and remarkable cures it
has made of the following diseases: Kingâs
Evil, or Glandular Swellings, Tumors,
Eruptions, Pimples, Blotches and Sores,
Erysipelas, Rose or St. Anthony's Fire,
Salt Rheum, Scald Head, Coughs from
tuberculous deposits in the lungs, White
Swellings, Debility, Dropsy, Neuralgia,
a or Indigestion, Syphilis and
Syphilitic Infections, Mercurial Diseases,
Female Weakn and, indeed, the whole
series of complaints that arise from impurity
of the blood. Minute reports of individual
cases may be found in AyeRâs AMERICAN
AtMAnac, which is furnished to the druggists
for gratuitous distribution, wherein may be
learned the directions for its use, and some
of the remarkable cures which it has made
when all other remedies had failed to afford
relief. Those cases are purposely taken
from all sections of the country, in order
that every reader may have access to some
one who can speak to him of its benefits from
personal experience. Scrofula depresses the
vital energies, and thus leaves its victims far
more subject to disease and its fatal results
than are healthy constitutions, Hence it
tends to shorten, and does greatly shorten,
the average duration of human life. The
vast importance of these considerations has
led us to spend years in perfe:ting a remedy
which is adequate to its cu This we now

ingredients, some of which exceed the best
of Sarsaparilla in alteragive power. By its
aid you may protect y If from the suffer-
ing and danger of these disorders. Purge
out the foul corruptions that rot and fester
in the blood, purge out the causes of disease,
and vigorous health will follow. By its pecu-
liar virtues this remedy stimulates the vital
functions, and thus expels the distempers
which lurk within the system or burst out
on any part of it.
We know the public have been deceived
by many compounds of Sarsaparilia, that
promised much and did nothing; but they
will neither be deceived nor disappointed in
this. Its virtues have been proven by abun-
dant trial, and there remains no question of
its surpassing excellence for the cure of the
afflicting diseases it is intended to reach.
Although under the same name, it is a very
different medicine from any other which has

ectual than any other which bas eve

PILES. As a remedy for this most distressing
and obstinate malady, the VEGETABLE LIFE ME-
DICINES deserve a distinct and emphatic recom-
mendation. It is well-known to hundreds in this
city, that the former preprietor of these valuable
Medicines was bimself afilicted with thie complaint
for upwards of THIRTY-FIVE YEARS, and that he tried
in vain every remedy prescribed within the whele
compass of the Materia Medica. He, however, at
length tried the Medicine which is now offered to tha
public, and Le was cured in a very short time, after
his recovery had been pronounced not only impro-
bable, but absolutely impossible, by eny Luman
means.
