are constralned for the present to convey to our readers,
in this brief manner, the tidings of the sad eventâwhich
will be heard Im many a household in this Colony with
unfeigned regret, and from whose family altar will
ascend the slinple prayerâmay he rest in peace.
Since writing the foregolug, we have received our

He had been ailing for some time, but no immediate
danger Was anticipated until a few hours before his
death, when his medieal advisers announced his ap-

excellency retained full possession of his faculties to the
last, and pes away asif going tosleep. The event
has caused great regret among all classes of colonists,
and a procession of about 1,000 of the principal inhabi-

placed in our hands, and we shall lose no time In giving

acquitted themselves remarkably well, and elicited the
hearty applause of their hearers. The music was ex-

Holloway's Pills.âIndigestion, Stomach and Liver
Complaints. Persons suffering from any derangements
of the liver, stomach. or the organs of digestion should
have recourse to Ho!loway's Pills as there is no medi-
cine known that acts on these particular complaints
with sugh certain euccess, Its peculiar properties
strengthen the stomach, increase the appetite and rouse
the sluggish liver. For bowel complaints itis invalu-
able, ag it removes every primary derangement, thereby
restoring the patient to the soundest healthand strength.
These preparations may be used at all times and in all
climates by persons affected by biliousness, nausea, or

specifics. Indeed no ailment of the digestive organs
can long resist their purifying and corrective powers.

this distinguished Irishman, Since 1859 he has ad-

full particualrs of Sir Dominick's death, and are some-

are constralned for the present to convey to our readers,
in this brief manner, the tidings of the sad eventâwhich
will be heard Im many a household in this Colony with
unfeigned regret, and from whose family altar will
ascend the slinple prayerâmay he rest in peace.
Since writing the foregolug, we have received our
exchange papers, in which we find the following particn-
lars relative to Sir Dominick Daly :â
« Advices from South Australia, via Panama, to Mareh

He had been ailing for some time, but no immediate
danger Was anticipated until a few hours before his
death, when his medieal advisers announced his ap-
roaching dissolution to the members of the family. His
excellency retained full possession of his faculties to the
last, and pes away asif going tosleep. The event
has caused great regret among all classes of colonists,
and a procession of about 1,000 of the principal inhabi-

Catholic Cathedral to the place of interment Sir
Dominick Dely was born in the North of Ireland, in
