stable was on hand, he promptly removed the
body and on the 17th inst. summoned a jury
tor three oâclock. Harrington put in an early
appearance and preceeded to hold an inqu:st
with Somersâ jury. Somers arrived during the
examination of the first witness and protested
that Harringtonâs inyuest would be illegal
Au unseemly squabble ensued, resulting in
Somers being ordered to quit, and Harrington
proceeded with the inquest. It may be stat-
ed that the coronerâs fee is seven dollars,
hence the squabble. Coroner Harrington
stated that Mrs. Carey, the principal witness,
was too drunk t be called. The jury finally
returned a verdict of death from heart disease
and excessive use of liquor.

stable was on hand, he promptly removed the
body and on the 17th inst. summoned a jury
tor three oâclock. Harrington put in an early
appearance and preceeded to hold an inqu:st
with Somersâ jury. Somers arrived during the
examination of the first witness and protested
that Harringtonâs inyuest would be illegal
Au unseemly squabble ensued, resulting in
Somers being ordered to quit, and Harrington
proceeded with the inquest. It may be stat-
ed that the coronerâs fee is seven dollars,
hence the squabble. Coroner Harrington
stated that Mrs. Carey, the principal witness,
was too drunk t be called. The jury finally
returned a verdict of death from heart disease
and excessive use of liquor.

Petificial High Mass by Mgr. deReude, papal
