louding with oats for the Home Mayket.
The ‘Princess of Wales” was on Wednes-
    diay moiing literally crammed with
freight. She took on board at Summerside
alone about 400 Sheep, 200 barrels of Oys-
ters, and 200 bushels Barley; besides a
horse or two, Several horses were Jett
behind, there being no room for them in
the boat, ‘The town to-day is quite a dil-
ferent looking’ place from the dull, dveury
spot it was two or three weeks ago,

ty GronGe Wicaiys, Esq., sowed this
spring a half bushel of wheat on a litle
more than halfan acre of ground. ‘The
return has been an extrordinary one.
‘Though the grain while growing wud aiter
it was cut sustained serious damage, yet
Mr. Wiggins informs us that he has had
fourteen and a half bushels of clean grain,
from the hali bushel’s sowing. ‘Che wheat
Was soavn on the 6th of June, on potatoe

to Weare glad to learn that the samplu
of Tobacco sent to the Tndustrial Exhibi-

proved to be the best exhibited. We
should judge trom this that the Prince

ronized herealter, Why should we send
away for that which we have at our own
door when the quality is so good,

te Wr forgot to acknowledge list

the Foreign Oflice of Edward Thornton,
ow Minister at Brazil, to represent Great

is generally expressed that none but a
