sun of £2000 for the due peformance of the Con-

reconmmendation of the Deputy Commissary Gene-
ral at Halifax, not later than MONDAY, the Sth
October next, 80 as to enable that Officer to com-
munieate thereon with the Senior Comiuiissuriat
Oificer at Bermuda, by the Royal Mail Steamer to
leave Halifax for Bermuda, on THURSDAY, the
bith October next, which steamer will be the last
opportunity by which Tenders for this Coutract
can be forwarded to Bermuda, in time to arrive on
the 2Uth October, the day appointed forthe opening
