Circular to the Sick.
The {rep hospita) surgeons and medical authors
{of Rusepe admit the unparallejed anti-inflamimatory
and Yeatiag properties of this Oimtment; goevera
went sanction its use in their naval and militery
seryives; and the masses in this country, and
âhroughout the world, repose the utmost cenidence
in ite eurative properties. It penetrates the sources
of inflammation and corrantion which underlie the
exiernal evidences of disease, and neutralizes the,
fiery elements which feed and exasperate the malady.
Rheumatism, Scrofyla, Exysipelas.

diseases, yet in thélr worst forme, and when seem-

antidote to pain and inflammation.
âKingâs Evil, Fever Sores, Stiff Joints
In cases of Kingâs Evil where me livinal waters,
lotions, and every receipe of the ph srmacopeia have
proved useless, the Qintment will accomplish a tho-
rough cure, Fever Sores heal quickly under its
lintluence, and its relaxing eilect ypon contracted
' sinews is truly wonderfal.
Discharging Ulcers:
A wost remarkable and happy change is produced
in the appearance of malignant ulcers after a few
applications of this Ointinemt. The surrounding
redness vanishes, aud granules of héalthy Jesh begin
to take the plwes of the diecharged matter. This
process goes on more or lese rapidly, ubtil the orifice
is filed up with soand materia) and the ulcef is
radically cured.
A Word to Mothers
The young are the most frequent sufferers from
external injuries, and therefore every mother shonld
âhave this healing preparation constantly at hand.

employed by sailors of all nations for curing the |

of engagements that constitute the most cherished

By Dr. LaâMeert, 37 Bedford Square, London,
Edinburgh ;
Member of the Royal College of Surgeons,
England, dc.
The above work contains most useful and interest-
ing information on the physiological changes which
cecur in the Reproductive System during the
periods of youth, puberty, and mantiood ; and on
the due attainthent of that degree of functional
vigour upon whieh the hopes of posterity depend.
It also points out how all the attributes of Manhood
can be preserved to an advanced period of life, how
they are lost, and how they can be recovered. It
is free from the gross exaggerations, alarming
descriptions, ard dabgerous remedies eo generally
resorted to by persons, who, practising with false
medical qualifications, inflict moat serious injuries,
and render judicious treatment frequently abortive.

treatmens of such diseases and maladies, where pain
is a concomitant of the digease.
Disease, like the storm, gives unmistakeable signs
of its approach. At ÂŁrat the threatened patient ex-
periences a slight digeomfort, this followed with pain
so a greater or less exfent, and other symptoms fol-
Jowin rapid succession. It is in thie condition of
the system where Badwayâs Ready Relief will be
found all-poteut. Ita administration, emher inter-
nally or externally, as the seat of pain indicates,
will arrest the progress of the threatened disease,
ind quiekly relieve the patient from all pain or dis-
contort.
If people, on the first indieation of unessiness or
pain, either slight or severe, would take a dose of
Radwayâs Ready Rebief, pot one in a thousand weuld
ever be troubled with siekness.
WHEN THREATENED WITH
Croup, Diptheria, Influenza, Sure Throat, Scarlet
Fever, Typhoid Fever, Pneusnonia, Bilious Fever,
Small Pox, Meagkes, Fever and Ague, Chills and
Fever, Headache, Bilious Chole, Diarhea, Dysen- |
tery, Cholera, Cramps and Sposms,âlet Kadwayâs
Keady Relief be freely used, and, ina short time, all
pain and uneasiness will evase, and the threatened |
disease expelled trom the system.
1„ SEIZED
With either of the above diseases, the use of RAD- |
WAYâSs KEADY RELIEF will ensure » speedy
cure.
âIT CURES SO MANY DISEASES,
** And therefore I'll have none of it,ââ says the skep-
tic; now we appeal to the common sense of any rea-
sonable being who has had the least experienee in
' medicine taking, or business relations with Pbysi-
cians, if this is sound reasoning.
RADWAY'S READY RELIEF
Is not recommended by us, nor prescribed for so
many varieties of disease as every physician in the |
practice of medicine, prescribes Calomel, Mercury,
Quinine, Morpbine, Opium and other favorite hobbys
ot the profession. It is a well kn-wn fact that in
ninety cases out of one hundred, no matter what may
be the name of the disease or the condition of the
patient, Calomel forms the important and the most
active agent of the prescriptivn; and if the symp-
toma of the disease are such as to leave any doubt in
| the mind of toe physician #3 to arriving at a decided
conclusion what to give, he gives Culome!. This is
an ancient landmark of the profession, which no in-
novation has ever been suffered to alter.
WEIGH FACTS.
When we tell the public that the use of Radwayâs |
Ready Relief will cure the sick of certain diseases;
that it will etop pain in a few minutes after its ap-
plication; that it will protect the system ugainst at-
tacks ot all walarious, contagious and infectious dis-
eases, we have the facts to establish the truth of eu:
statements, acknowledged by thousands who have
proved its unfailing powers on their own persons, Gr
where you will, speak of KRadwayâs Keady Kelief in
| any assemblage of persons, some one or more will
| bear witness of deriving benefit from its use.

St. Anthonyâs Fire, Rose, Salt Rheum,
Scald Head, Sore Eyes.
From Harvey Sickter, Esq., the able editor of the
Tunkhannock Democrat, Penarsylvania.
â Our only child, about three years of aye, was
attacked by pimples on his forehead. They rapidly
spread until they formed a loathsome virulent
sore, which covered his face, and actually blinded
his eyes forsome days. A skilful physician applied
nit of silver and other remedies, without an
apparent effect. For fifteen days we guarded his
hands, lest with them he should tear open the fes-
tering and corrupt wound which covered his whole
face. Having tried every thing else we had any
hope from, we began yiving your SARSAPARILLA,
and applying the iodide of potash lotion, as you
direct. The sore began to heal when we had given
the first bottle, and was well when we had finished
the second, The childâs eyelashes, which had come
out, grew in, and he is now as healthy and fair

best medicines we have.â
From A. J, French, M. D,, an eminent physician of
Lawrence, Mass., who is @ prominent r of
the Legislature of Massachusetts.
âDr. AYER. My dear Sir: I have found your
SAKSAPARILLA an excellent remedy for Syphilis,
both of the primary and secondary types and effee-
tual in some cases that were too obstinate to yield
te other remedies. 1 do not know what we can em-
ploy with more a of success, where a power-
ul alterative is required,ââ
Mr. Chas. S. Van Liew, of New Brunswicl:, N.J.,
had dreadful ulcers on his legs, caused by the abuse
of mercury, or mercurial disease, which grew more
and more aggravated for years, in spite of every
remedy or treatment that could be applied, until the
orsevering use of AYERâS SARSAPARILLA relieved
im. Few cases can be found more inveterate and
distressing than this, and it took several dozen
bottles to cure him.
Leucorrhea, Whites, Female Weakness,
are generally produced by internal Scrofulous Ul-
ceration, and are very often cured by the alterative
effect of this SARSAPARILLA. Some cases eo
however, in aid of the SARSAPARILLA, the 6 ful
application of local remedies.
From the well-known and widely-celebrated Dr.
Jacob Morrill, of Cincinnati,
âT have found your SARSAPARILLA an excellent
ulterative in diseases of females, Many cases of
irregularity, Leucorrhea, Interna] Utceration, and
local debility, arising from the scrofulous diathesis,
have yielded to it, and there are few that do not,
when its effect is properly aided by local treatment.â

very debilitating Leusorrhea of long standing, by |

THERAPION, No 1, in three days only

The above work contains most useful and interest-
ing information on the physiological changes which
cecur in the Reproductive System during the
periods of youth, puberty, and mantiood ; and on
the due attainthent of that degree of functional
vigour upon whieh the hopes of posterity depend.
It also points out how all the attributes of Manhood
can be preserved to an advanced period of life, how
they are lost, and how they can be recovered. It
is free from the gross exaggerations, alarming
descriptions, ard dabgerous remedies eo generally
resorted to by persons, who, practising with false

and render judicious treatment frequently abortive.

A QUESTION OF THE MILLION
ANSWERED.
HOW 18 IT TMAÂźR
RADWAYâS READY RELIEF
Possesses auch wonderful remedia} powers as to cure
so many diseases of apparently opposite phenomena?
We reply that Radway s Keady Relief ete and
most important remedial efficacy, is evinced im the |
immediate arrest of pain, and its potency iw the
treatmens of such diseases and maladies, where pain
is a concomitant of the digease.
Disease, like the storm, gives unmistakeable signs
of its approach. At ÂŁrat the threatened patient ex-
periences a slight digeomfort, this followed with pain
so a greater or less exfent, and other symptoms fol-
Jowin rapid succession. It is in thie condition of
the system where Badwayâs Ready Relief will be
found all-poteut. Ita administration, emher inter-
nally or externally, as the seat of pain indicates,
will arrest the progress of the threatened disease,
ind quiekly relieve the patient from all pain or dis-
contort.
If people, on the first indieation of unessiness or
pain, either slight or severe, would take a dose of
Radwayâs Ready Rebief, pot one in a thousand weuld
ever be troubled with siekness.
WHEN THREATENED WITH
Croup, Diptheria, Influenza, Sure Throat, Scarlet
Fever, Typhoid Fever, Pneusnonia, Bilious Fever,
Small Pox, Meagkes, Fever and Ague, Chills and
Fever, Headache, Bilious Chole, Diarhea, Dysen- |
tery, Cholera, Cramps and Sposms,âlet Kadwayâs
Keady Relief be freely used, and, ina short time, all
pain and uneasiness will evase, and the threatened |
disease expelled trom the system.
1„ SEIZED
With either of the above diseases, the use of RAD- |
WAYâSs KEADY RELIEF will ensure » speedy
cure.
âIT CURES SO MANY DISEASES,
** And therefore I'll have none of it,ââ says the skep-
tic; now we appeal to the common sense of any rea-
sonable being who has had the least experienee in
' medicine taking, or business relations with Pbysi-
cians, if this is sound reasoning.
RADWAY'S READY RELIEF
Is not recommended by us, nor prescribed for so
many varieties of disease as every physician in the |
practice of medicine, prescribes Calomel, Mercury,
Quinine, Morpbine, Opium and other favorite hobbys
ot the profession. It is a well kn-wn fact that in
ninety cases out of one hundred, no matter what may
be the name of the disease or the condition of the
patient, Calomel forms the important and the most
active agent of the prescriptivn; and if the symp-
toma of the disease are such as to leave any doubt in
| the mind of toe physician #3 to arriving at a decided
conclusion what to give, he gives Culome!. This is
an ancient landmark of the profession, which no in-
novation has ever been suffered to alter.
WEIGH FACTS.
When we tell the public that the use of Radwayâs |
Ready Relief will cure the sick of certain diseases;
that it will etop pain in a few minutes after its ap-
plication; that it will protect the system ugainst at-
tacks ot all walarious, contagious and infectious dis-
eases, we have the facts to establish the truth of eu:
statements, acknowledged by thousands who have
proved its unfailing powers on their own persons, Gr
where you will, speak of KRadwayâs Keady Kelief in
| any assemblage of persons, some one or more will
| bear witness of deriving benefit from its use.

General Jose Villamil, Commander-in-Chief of the

ASTHMA for TWENTY YEARS, could not lay

Ready Kelief gave him the first calm, undisturbed
sleep he had enjoyed for twenty years. Thousands
of other cases could be adduced, if necessary, but the

Leucorrhea, Whites, Female Weakness,
are generally produced by internal Scrofulous Ul-
ceration, and are very often cured by the alterative
effect of this SARSAPARILLA. Some cases eo
however, in aid of the SARSAPARILLA, the 6 ful
application of local remedies.
From the well-known and widely-celebrated Dr.
Jacob Morrill, of Cincinnati,
âT have found your SARSAPARILLA an excellent
ulterative in diseases of females, Many cases of
irregularity, Leucorrhea, Interna] Utceration, and
local debility, arising from the scrofulous diathesis,
have yielded to it, and there are few that do not,
when its effect is properly aided by local treatment.â
A lady, unwilling to allow the publication of her |

very debilitating Leusorrhea of long standing, by |
two bottles of your SARSAPARILLA.â

HERAPLON:âor CURE OF
_ CURES, This successful and highly popular
medicament, as employed in the continentai hospi-
tals by Rostan, Jobert, Velpeau, and others, com-
bines all the desiderata to be sought in a medicine
of the kind, and surpasses everything hitherto em-
ployed. Devoid of taste. odour, and appearance of
medicine, it can be left or carried anywhere, and
taken from time to time without exciting suspicion

THERAPION, No 1, in three days only
removes gonorrhoea, vlect and all discharges, effec-
tually superseding injections, the use of which does
irreparable harm by laying the foundation of stric-
ture and other serious diseases. In dysentery,
piles, irritation of the lower bowei. cough, bronchitis,
asthina. and some of the more trying complaints of
this kind, it will be found astonishingly effiexcious,
atfording prompt reliet, where other well-tried reme-
dies have bsen powerless.
THERAPION, No. 2, for syphilis, disease
of the bones, sore throat, threatened destructionof
the nose and palate; impurity of blood, scurvy, pim-
ples, spots. blotches, and all diseases for which it
has been tov much a fashion to employ mercury,
sargaparilla, &c., to the destruction of the suffererâs
teeth; and ruin of health. Under this medicine
every vestige of disease rapidly disappears; and the
skin assumes the pleasing softness of infancy.
THERAPION, No, 3, for reiaxation, sper-
matorrhoea, and all the distressing consequences
arising from early abuse, excess, residence in hot,
unhealthy climates, &c. It possesses surprising
power in restoring strength and vigour to the deti-
litated.â To those who are prevented entering the
marriage ttate by the consequences of early error,
it will render essential aid by subduing all disquati-
fications; and restoring the lost tone to the system.
