Sedgley. 98 years died yesterday afternoon at 1.15 orlock at Addison Gilbert hospital, where she was taken after col- lapsing in William G. Brown com- pony department store about 12.30 o'clock. A resident of Mrs. Charles W. Riley's‘ Nursing Home at l6 East- ern Polnt road. Mrs. Bedgley had_ been in good health considering her age. She spent most oi the day sitting on the porch and seldom left the immediate vicinity of the nursing home. Yesterday, however. relatives from Quincy took her for an auto ride about 12 o'clock and Mrs. Sedgley decided she would like to do s little shopping in BrownsxShe became suddenly ill just a short time after enter- ing the store. The rescue squad wagon of the Central fire station was called at the only break in the family; one son. Lt. Cmdr. George, was in Eng- land taking a special navy course. and one granddaughter was un- able to he present. Mrs. Moore. the former Sarah Grotto of Murray River. P.E.I.. is one of nine child- ren all llving; Mr. Moore comes from a family of eight oi whom five besides himself survive. His father lived to be 98. Present at their "at home" were some of the guests who saw them married at Murray River by Rev. Hush G11“! half a century ago. They made the trip here especially for the occas- lqn along with other relatives and friends.
