The Charlottetown Rotary Club which attained its Charter In 1917 ls celebrating its Silver Jubilee at The Charlottetown Hotel on Tuesday evening, November 10th‘, when "the star at- traction will be the guest speaker, Rev. E. Leslie Pidgeon, D.D-, President of Rotary International in 1917-18, the year of Charloftetowrfs admission. Dr. Pidgeon also happens to be an Islander, with a world-wide reputation. During its existence the Rotary Club has stood behind most worthwhile public movements here, and has especially distinguished itself by ado tin the Crippled Children Campaign as its own particular branch of Red Cross work, raising no less than $20,000 for the carrying on of the good work.
