News has been received from Toronto of the death of Sister Anne-Amie Elizabeth Pair- clough-on April 22nd. Sister Anne was a member of the community of St John the Divine. which she entered forty-six years ago, She endeared herself to the pn- tlents of the Weston of Tubercular Hospital by whom she was affec- livlliitcly called “The Lady of the Lillllp". In spite of advancing years she most regularly perform- ed her duties there, as she had done for the past twenty five years, except for the last iew months before her death. By all her fellow members of the community she was regarded Willi Jove and esteem. Before joining the Sisterhood she was a resident of Charlottetown and o devoted member of 5t. Peter's Cathedral. Her funeral was held on 24th April in the Chapel of the Con- vent of st. John the Divine in Toronto.
