What about the money that accrues over and above the ca- .rylng Out of the Act? Does he know anything about it? Is this a. mis- appropriation or funds, or is it not? Tells about maladmfnlstraticn! Could there be anything more glaring than this. A few years ago t-here was a great howl raised throiuzhouc the Provlrioe because $500 was paid by the Prohibition Oomm.‘asion to the Government for the purchase of a car. That was something terrible. But here we have a payment of $1200 n0t to the Government or any de- partment responsible to the people of this Province, but to the Tem- perlnee Alliance, and no accosuitng ls made of that at all. I would ad- vise the Attorney General to get busy. He had better find out where that $1200 nent. how t was used and for what purpose. If he had that $1200 to add to his wonderful "sur- plus" of $3700 he would have $4 900 now, because if that money h:irln't been paid to the Temperance Al- llanoe lic would have had it. He took $16,800 0ut of the Prohibition Com- .mimion last yoar, and hc took $5,000 to pay for a plcbiscitc.
