THIS MONTHS COVER . _ v The Snow Bunting pictured on this issue's cover is a common winter bird on Prince Edward Island. They travel in flocks and the whole flock tends to react the same way. The thaws of early January have opened of the field for foraging by this winter resident. When you see a flock of Snow Buntings feeding, watch carefully around the edges of the flock for the Horned Lark which sometimes feeds with them.
