Hogan, St. Avards. is a patient in the Prince Edward Island Hospital suffering from a fractured skull. The young lad met with his accident on Friday afternoon when coming on his bicycle for his papers. The chain of his wheel came off and he was hurled to the icy pavement. In her younger days Mrs. Morris was active in church work, being at one time organist in the Be- deque Church. She also took an active interest in the Sunday School. Mrs. Robert Holland, Lower Bedeque, is a sister-in-law of the deceased. — —The death occurred on Monday, January 23rd of Mr. Joseph chais- slon, at the home of his nephew Mr John A. Chalsslon, St. Felix. Al- though the late Mr. Chalsiilon was in his eighties, he was active and enjoying good health until three days before his death. when upon complaining of being ill. a doctor wag sinrnmoncd but no medical aid was of any assistance and fortllied hy the inst rites of the Roman Catholic Church he passed peace- fully away.
