Ye as “3 ' Following ‘the death of her hus- band in 1933, she continued to re- side on the homestead with her son, Robert moving with him and his family to Kensington in 1946. She leaves to mourn one son, Robert, Kensington; one daugh- ter, Ruth, Mrs. Arnold Hender- son, Bedeque; also one step - daughter, Eliza, Mrs. Jamés Chisholm, Calgary, Alberta, and two grandchildren, Ralph and Isabel Carruthers, Kensington. Of a family of eight, only one brother, George of Hamilton sur- vives. The largely attended. funeral service was held from the home on November 17 and was conduct- ed by Rev. J.H. Bishop, who was her pastor for many years, as- sisted by. Rev. R.J. Murray of Scotland, who read the scripture and Rev. L.M. Murray, Kensing- ton United Church, who led in prayer and rendered a solo, “‘The Lord’s My Shepherd” (Crimond) The hymns sung were: “I To The Hills Will Lift Mine Eyes” and “O God Of Bethel” with Mrs. Rus sell MacKay as pianist.
