A brakefman standing on the platform saw him fall and opened the emergency valve bringing the train to a stop. The body was horribly mangled, his back broken and his arms and legs crush- ed. Dr. F. A. Bartlett was sent for as rushed to the Quincy Hospital in the police ambu- lance He was still unconscious when placed on the operating table, and after other had been administered, l` Drs.
