Skinner's Pond. had the misfortune to lose a very valuable five year old work horse. While returning to his home from Tignish on Monday the horse be- came suddenly ill. The Veterinar- ian from 0'Leary was called in but despite all efforts the horse died within a few hours. Mr. Arthur Arsenault. Tignlsh. was a Visitor to Charlottetown on Tuesday. Mrs. Carlysle Trainor. Tignish. spent a few days the past week visiting relatives and friends in Halifax. N. I. Messrs.
