The date on which the games in this league are played are much the same as in the senior. On the evening of Friday ~ Oct. 11th., the first meeting of the Sodales Debating Society was held in the Munroe Rooms. The debate for the evening 'was “Resolved that the amalgamation of the several colleges of the Maritime Provinces would be to the best interests of higher education.” Messrs. E. A. McLeod and Messrs.R. H. Stavert and W. _H. Comm' defended the negative! 'side of the* question. On the vote being taken the resolution was upheld by a very small majority.
