I-Ie attended Prince of Wales College and graduat- ed in the same class with Chief Justice Sullivan who was always his warm personal friend. In 1842 Mr. McWilliams camo to Boston and entered business and soon won sub- stantial success there until loss of health compelled his retirement some twenty years ago.
