Campbell were interred at Clifton, New London, on, the 18th Jane inst., where a large concoarse of the inhabitants of New Londo. met to pay their last tribute of respect. Mr. Campbell was about 36 years of age—left New London for the Pacific Coast about Califoria. He died suddeuly at San Jose, California, on the 7th inst., from heart clot, after running some little distance to overtake a car. His sister, Miss Lucy Campbell, brought the remains home, and much sympathy is felt for her ant her si-ter, Mrs. Robert Glover. of Summerside, in their sad be- reavemeat, and particularly as Mra. Glover is in very poor health ever since the news of his death.
