HEREAS. on the night of Tuesday. the Sixth (lay of July last. a certain building known as the “ Hospital and Surgery and Quartermastcr's Rooms.” forming part of the Victoria Barracks Buildings. and situate at Brighton. in the Common of Charlottetown. was consumed by fire; and whereas. on the night of Saturday. the Fourteenth day of August. instant. a cer- tain other Building. known as the ‘ Oflicers’ Quarters,’ and other buildings in the rear thereof. and beinv also part of the said Victoria Barracks Buildings, werg also consumed by fire; and whereas. it is apprehended that the said fires originated by the wilful and felonious act of some evil disposed person or persons. at. present un- discovered.
