Summer- aide, George's Gala and Andy's Aces fought to a 3-all draw in six innings last night in the first game of a best-two-out-three series for the league championship. A very large crowd watched the tense struggle and fan-interest was at fever pitch. ' Andy's Aces committed tzwo er- rors, both in the first inning, and George's had one in the final frame. Between these miscues very steady ball was played. Time after time 1951 M? I. Wilson. 1952 L. J. Mol- lins. The committee in charge of the tournament consisted of C. T. ' Teedie Cahil1's run into the shrubs to gather in Rose Gaudet's foul fly at a critical time in the last frame was the best defensive play among many good ones. Dot Gallant's scooping in of Nancy Ma.cFarlane's foul in the fourth was also brilliant, as was Muriel Mimee's leaping catch MacFarlane's potential texas lea- guer, and Marion Roger.s' stab of Marsha Delaney's looper in the third, and Gibson's catch in the fifth to rob Delaney again. one by each team.
