Nobody works more than eight hours a day, with
seven hours as tho limit for saturday. There are
busy seasons for the Commons-_r's force, as there are
for all other fort-os; but no employe fools it incum-
bent to stay for extra time under pain of dllfavor.
Additional service is supplicd by the volunteers,
