Boston on September 30. Miss Hood,
who will be given away by her father,

ward_lsland mall. and an otllclal of
the P.E.l. railway;
Hood & Irvine some time ago took
over the store at 113 Eighth avenue
west, the removal to these premises,
no much more commodlons and central
than their old location, being necessi
tated by ever-increasing patronage ou
the part of the public. As _the lease
of the store lit 107 Eighth avenue east
`does not expire until towards the close
of the year, this store, ln which the
flourishing business of Hood & Irvine
was built up, will le kept going in tho
meantime. Both stores are doillg well,
t_lie new location liaving been a success
from the first, Mr. Hood said.

with a particular branch of trade be-
speaks service, vt-.Iue and constant at-
tention to customers’ needs, then, in-
deed the -house of Hood & Irvine

concern. F. M. Irvine, the third mem-
ber of the firm, has been in the shoe
business in Calgary for over 18 years.
