the Normal Bible Class the date of the
Examination is postponed one week, It
will now be held at the residence of Rev.
G. P. Raymond Queen, Street, on Thurs-
day- Sept. 27th, beginning at 3 p. m. The
papers are being set by leading education-
ists of the city and it is hoped that a large
Ziumber of the class will try the examina-
ion.
The wedding took place at Annapolis
Yesterday of Mr. Francis Henry Arnaud,
manager of the Merchants’ Bank of Hali-
fax, here, to Miss Ada Augusta Frances,
eldest daughter of Mr. James Watson, of
Eolkestone, England. The wedding was
witnessed by a large number of people.
The ceremony was performed in the St.
Liike`s church, Annapolis Royal, by Rev.
Mr. How.-St. John Telegraph.
Present prices for eggs are not considered
very profitable for receivers and there is a
tendency to hoist prices too high in th
country. P E Island eggs sell in Mon
treal from 121; to 13c. The general price
for caiidled stock there is 13 to 140., while
small lots sell to the local trade at 16 and
17c. for choice quality. Our exports of
eggs this season to date show an increase
of 87 per cent. as compared with the same
period last year. New-laid eggs are
scarce here and bring 135 to l4c. in large
lots. Other quality bring 12%; to 13c.
