The de- ceased was born at Crapaud eighty seven years ago the youngest son of Charlotte Warren. and George Leard. who was a miller. and taught the trade to his eight sons. who were all successful millers in different parts of the province. The deceased mvned and oper- ated a Flour Mill at Coleman known as Leardls Mill. as a young man. He also was the first to give the town of Alberlon electric and hydro power and conducted a grocery and confectionery store in Alberton before his retirement.
