Estrabo, one of Lambert & Holt’s line of steamships. This company own sixty steamships, and have the contract for carrying the Belgian.mails to South America, the Estrabo being one of the mail boats. Capt. Matheson is the son of Mr. D. Matheson, of St. Peter's Road, Lot 53, near Cardigan, and is now on a visit to his friends—the first he has paid the Island for fifteen years. His career hag been a most interesting and ex- citing one. Without money or triends, he worked his way upwards until now he holds a splendid position as first rank commander in this large line of steamers, a line that is reckoned one of the first out of Liverpool, G.
