Many people have been compl —aining about the lack of action on campus lately. Ac -tually there hasn't ever be -en any actipn pm campus. How -ever,I have a few suggesti -ons that may help to allev —iate the problem. For the bevy of bored beauties of Bernadine, a slow night may be Speeded up by phoning a bomb threat to the A & w and watching the cars scatter.A fun evening can also be had by scheduling an archery tournament and heme -ing the target on the back of the door leading from the main desk into the residence itself. Scoring: 2 points for one of the Bernardine girls, 3 for afiiarion visi tor, 5 for a boy, 10 for a proctor and 25 for Joyce.. No score unless the arrow is driven through the heart and out the back. The girls in Marion ha -ve ample opportunity for fun and games, especially those who live in the rooms facing the parking lot. Molotov cocktails ALWAYS have a big effect, especial -1y on a Volkswagon van. A1 -so,"mooning" the neckers in the cars would be a novel tr ~ick.(Special hint to Jo In —gs: a pot of boiling oil poured out of your window at midnight will greatly speed up the tender farewells You have to listen to each night. we at the Cadre worry about your sanity, girls, and we hope these suggestio ns will stimulate your own ideas, so that your cam pus life will be fuller. Next week-ideas for the boys. Love, Mac Abre. DENT COUNCIL MEETING -ity which is pending ap- proval of council. :Cadre} Discussion was held concerning the cover story of the January 15-72 issue Several council members thought the article to be in extremely poor taste and recommended that some- thing be done to prevent articles of this nature from appearing in the new- spaper in future. The most interesting aspect of this meeting would seem to be the motion by Gary Walker to study course eval uations. This was made with the intention of making recommendations to the San- ate on such topics as ten— ure and dismissal. The stu- dents should have had a say Ain this a long time ago, as it is their education that is affected; and their ed- ,ucation is the only reason for the school's.existence. -CADRE Dashing through the snow You‘re a winter's song come to life.
