     For those of you who read my predictions for 1998, it 
     
     might interest you to know that they’re already starting to 
     
     come true. 
     
    

    
     | had predicted that Dr. lan “Democracy” Dohoo 
     
     would receive a promotion anda new office for his conflicting 
     
     work on the Board of Governors. Imagine my surprise when 
     
     he sent me this message. 
     
    

    
     “almost feel as if my academic career is complete now 
     
     that I have been pilloried in the student newspaper. How- 
     
     ever, | thought I should let you know that your timing is 
     
     impeccable. Despite the fact the sun rose in the east this 
     
     morning and the pigs are still trying to de-ice their wings, your 
     
     article did come out on the day that I moved into a rennovated 
     
     office (although being a year behind schedule I am not sure 
     
     that you get elevated to Nostradamus status for that predic- 
     
     tion). If you want to see it, drop by for coffee sometime. As 
     
     for your other predictions ... | would suggest that betting on 
     
     the Superbowl! will be a better way to make your fortune.”
