The neighbor is a milk vendor. Mrs. Hone said her sleep was dis- turbed by the banging of milk cans, , talking..whistlil'ig, the barking of clogs, the noisy running of an engine and the rumbling of heavy vans. Mrs. Hone encased a talkie ex- pert. He went to her home one night and recorded for five minutes the din of the dairy. The noise was so violent, it was stated, that ll. had to be deadened or the recording < instruments would have been chat- ‘ tered. After the case was explained Mr. Justice Lowe went to a special studio to hear the talkie record. He then announced that he would pay an early morning visit to Mrs. Hope's house, to determine whether the talkie faithfully recorded the noise, and then would announce whether lt would be admitted as evidence.
