During the period in Sumner- slde 2.824 persons were x-rayed. not by any meanathe number that should have been. About ninety per cent of these persons had been x- rayed two years ago and remark- ably few have been called back for further examinations which shows the value to p, community oi’ having regular chest x-rnys. The visit to Summerside of the mobile clinic was sponsored by the Y's Men's Club and lvfr. Alon Holman was chairmen of the committee in charge. - S. Truck-Train Brash . At Summerside Mr. Alfred Groom o! the Town of Bummer-side Water and Sewage Department had a narrow escape from death or serious injury when the truck he was driving was struck by e train at the Duke Street railway crossing about 10.15 yesterday morning. The train was entering Summerside from the west and the truck had Just about passed over the crossing when it was struck and turned over. Mr. Groom is in the Prince County Hospital but will likely be discharged today. He received a severe shaking up and e cut on the head. Only the rear fenders and box of the truck were dam- aged.
