Heathwood of Bel- fast; the charge to the Minister was given by the Rev. L. E. Blaikic of Brookfleld and the charge to the Congregation by the Rev. D. A. Campbell of New Lon- don. The Rev. Donald Nicholson, the son. Mr. J. A. MacKinnon and Mr. A. A. MacDonald were also present together with the Rev. Wm. M. Hyndman. a visitor. Rev. T. H. B. somers, read a tribute to the life and work of Mr. Bean from the Presbytery of Miramlchl where Mr. Bean had ministered for 12 years with out- standing success. Following the service of worship in honour of the Rev. and Mrs. Bean and the members of Presby- tery and their wives during which Mr. H. B. MacLeod warmly wel- comed the new minister and his wife and paid heartfelt tribute to the services of the Rev. D. A. Mrs. I-Iowat died Oct. 28 at the Bubb nursing home in Cobleskiil. iY Mrs. Howat is the widow of Horace Howat who died Sept.'1ll. 1926. They moved to Stamford in 1919 from Bedeque.
