This will be the last issue Wellcanothar: school year is nearly over but it was a year to remember for the UPEI Biology Club! We started things off with a car wash and party, both of which were successful as ev- eryone involved took about a week to recover. We also painted our lounge, adopted a foster child, and adopted a stream, which we will be working on this summer. Our pub and pub crawl in November was the most suc- cessful pub of the semester, with about 40 teams partic- ipating. Congratulations to Roger Beazley’s team who won that great event — we hope you treasure those tro- phies forever! A -while ago we held our Bio Club Elections and Knucklemania ran rampant Well, all you Knucklema- niacs, the UPEI Intramural Hockey League came to a close Wednesday, ‘March 30, 1988 at the ‘fabulous’ UPEI Arena. The Blanchard Hall Knucklers, regular season champions (13-2-1) played the Soccer Panthers for the right. to be crowned. the UPEI IHL Champions in a best of three affair. The Knucklers outscored the Soccer team 5-3 on Tuesday, March 29 to grab a 1-0 lead in the series. With their backs to the wall, the Soccer Panthers had to de- feat the Knucklers not once, but twice Wednesday March 30. Well they did, and in dramatic fashion. The Soccer: Panthers overpowered the Knucklers 4-1 to the series at one a piece. The deter- mined Soccer team jumped out to a quick 4-1 lead in the championship game but Knucklemania and the ’Knucklers came back to tie the game 4-4 as Grambo ‘Spock’ Deighan scored with tie our new executive consists of Rob Redmond (President), .
