C!-!ARl'.-O'l"rE'l'O'W'N Excavaie Cellar For New School At Montague The excavation oi the cellar oi the new Montague school located at the north end of the Commun- ity Welfare League grounds was completed yesterday afternoon. The excavation is approximately 110 ieet long and 50 ieet wide, and a depth of somewhat over seven ieet. The location oi this site was determined some time ago by test bore which showed a strong sedimentary rock strata lying below sub-suriace level, and on this firm strata, the cement ioundatlon for the building will be constructed. A very large volume of clay was removed by carry-all and bulldozer. and this has been de- posited on the south side of the site, to be. used ior grading the location.
