S., Jan. 25.- This town located on the south shore of Nova Scotia along the lines of the Canadian National Railways boasts of eighty-one percent of last year's taxes collected and less than three hundred dollars spent for poor relief. Not u bad showing in these times. Henry Ford wanted to buy it for his museum but the town would not sell. Many of the Loyalists brought their negro servants and l there is still a colored population descended from these.
