Players of the week This year's first athlete of the week award goes to our only Holland born soccer superstar, Martein Hakkers. This third year political science major's foot was on fire cashing in both goals for the Panthers as they glided over the Mt. Allison Mounties last weekend. Hakkers is a defensive power- house who isn't scared to jump up into the play and mix it up in the box. Don't be surprised if you see Martein grab a few more acknowledgements in his junior year. Liz MacPhail graduated from Charlottetown Rural High School and has made a name for herself already on the women's soccer team. The second year biology major notched the game winner against Mt. Allison last week- end with a pin point shot just inside the right post. Watch for this crafty striker to fill the net this year with her accurate crosses and soft touch.
