The main bridge itself with a roadway of 24 feet is completed together with the curb on the west side. There remains only the sidewalk and the railings, a matter of twoi weeks providing suitable weather prevails. Up to the present there has been no indication whether or not the bridge Vllii be open for winter travel by grading the ap- proaches. However. with the near comple- tion of the bridge this matter may be taken under advisement to de- lerniinc if such a procccluie woiiln be feasible at this time of the year. It is also noted that the concrete, foundation and cement floor of the , new Federal building at Montague have also been completed, 2 It is expected that further con-r struction will continue followiiigl this phase of the work.
