Is- land Poultry Association Show took place yesterday at noon in the spac- ious Hall of the Market Building where the show is being held. The proceedings were opened by L. H. D. Foster, Marshfield, Presi- dent of the Association, in a short speech who later introduced Lieut Governor Rogers who formally open- ed the show. He was followed by Hon. Mr. Mc- Kinnon, Commissioner of Agricul- ture, and Rev. P. D. McGuigan, each delivering appropriate and helpful addresses. The speakers drew attention to the importance of poultry raising and re- ferred to the amount of eggs and poultry exported from this province. during the past year which eweeded even the exports of hogs and pota- toes combined.
