In commemoration of the Vice President of Activities' big day The Wave threw a shindig, and the students showed their love for the student known simply and affectionately as “Younis.” Displayed on posters around campus, the event-to-be was hailed as the “Biggest Birthday Party Everrrrrrrr”, and the Wave aimed to make that a truth. The night started off slow -- with few walking through the front doors before midnight — but ended with a bang. Students lined up to partake in drinks and dancing with their beverages hoisted in cheers to one of UPEI's best known and beloved students.. UPEI’s indepen- dent paper, The Semantic, even left Younis a message on his door wishing him a happy birthday. - The celebration hardly was restricted to the Wave. On the Big Man’s big day, one could easily hear echoes of “Happy Birthday!”, and this sentiment could only grow in intensity once the campus pub opened its doors.
