NSO 2600 continued on page 17 barbecues, games, and the ever-amusing No-Talent Show. Events in the future promise more of the best of the best and whatever wild events can be spawned from the imaginations of returning students. So what ideas do you have? NSO needs leaders. Men and women dedicated to truth, amusement, and university life. Wait....no. It'd be cool if there were just some people that have a few good ideas and who want to have a good time. Being a leader consists of volunteering some of your time for the first week of school in the fall to give new students a helping hand, to offer information and advice, and to make sure everyone has a good time. Leaders always geta great time and a rewarding experience in return for the time they afford. If you have any ideas or are interested in being a leader, then e-mail me, Steve Forbes, at sforbes@upei.ca. Some questions we’ re looking to receive feedback on are: How can we improve NSO? What new events can we have? What would you like to see happen NSO week? What are some ideas fora theme? E-mail me with thoughts on these questions or any others. Youcan also feel free to drop by my office in Student Services, where I’ll be taking up residence as of May Ist, and youcan chat with me or leave a message. NSO isa great way to get involved,a great way to meet people, and (need I say again) an AMAZING time! Like every other year, our goal is to make this year’s NSO better than the last. We wantto have more fun, raise more money for Shinerama, have more cool events, and reachmore students. [j ariit page 17 The Helmet. Be the first.
