Tile splendid series of recruiting
meetings held in Prince County Thurs-
day night resulting in the addition of

colours is a credit to the County and
to the people of the different points
where meetings were ileld. who no
generously assisted and entertained
the members of the recruiting party.
Much credit is due the Band of the
82nd Regiment for the valuable assist-
.ncc given. by them throughout the
tour. as well as to the ladies and
gentlemen who freely gave their ser-
vices as soloists and entertainers.
Notwithstanding a regrettable mls-
ullderstandilig as to the time of meet-
ing, a large number of persons having
been under the impression that 2
o'clock instead of 8 p.m. was the hour
fixed, a splendid rally was held at
Tignlsh. the hall being absolutely
crowded. Major Leigh presided and
introduced the speakers. The hall
was specially decorated for the
occasion with Bags and ‘recruiting
posters. On the platform were Revs.
