Presbyterian Church service on July 6. 1806 when the Rev. James MacGregar oi Plctou vis- ited this province and preached in the home oi William Graham oi Gasperesux. Within a few years a thriving congregation was established and a. church was built. which served an extensive territory. In i883 the congregation was divided and two new churches were built. one at Murray Har- bour North. one mlle east oi the old site. and the other at Peters Road. nve miles west oi it. Murray Harbour North Church is a. fine example oi rurahchurch architecture. A graceful spire. which can be seen for miles. adds dignity and impressivencss to the edifice.
