Thus each of the Ottawa batteries will he allowed to send a man. The field battery men will be .os- semhled nt Petiiwawa before the team leaves for preliminary training on the grounds there. They will then go to Halifax for training with the const defense guns. The officers for the team have not yet been chosen. There will he eight men from the heavy artillery and seventeen from the const defense, making a team of forty strong. The men will probably he chosen on their showing in camp.
