Five Inches of snow fell, backed by a wind which at tlm l reached a velocity of 38-mIles-pcr-hour. Mr. Wanen Burns, weather observer at the Charlottetown Experimental Station said. The temperature was only just below freezing. however, But it hung at the freezing point. all day and at. night. fall much of the snow still remained. The storm began Monday night. There was no damage from the storm and yester- day farmers were able to continue harvesting their potato crop, despite the snow.
