Both France and Belgium are seeking military and economic sanctions unless Germany lives up to the Lccarno Treaty. Other signator- ies to the treaty are less demand- ing. ‘rnere will be a meeting to- morrow in connection with the treaty and the League of Nat- ions will meet on Saturday. Those who are well informed on the Eur- opean situation do not seem to be particularly disturbed, neverthe- less, the uninformed. and thereare many of these who own securliim are nervous about the European situation which will probably cause considerable irregularity in the stock market. Dividend meetings sceduled for today are Air Reduction, Contin- l, Kaufimann Dept Stores, Ga sand Elec, and United whine We would look for some 1.. nsion cl the rally today, but '10 not believe the advance will ocn-inue in an important way, at least without some further backing and filling. There are some stock, however, which may may break away from the rest of the list and included in thcsc pos- sibilities are Sterling Products, Seaboard Oil, Farm Implements, Gull’ Oil and Standard Oil of New Jersey. 1 MOIHREAL, March IL-Traffic 9011111188 of C.
