STUDENT UNION NEWSLETTER SU Presidlantis Message | began my term as President in October taking over from acting President, B.J. McCarville. As the year comes to a close, |! would like to take this opportunity to share with you a few comments on the past year. Throughout the year | had _ the opportunity to witness the commitment the University has toward the new Student Centre. We are entering a new era at UPEI. From the many hours spent discussing hot issues to the day to day activities | would like to thank the 1999/2000 Executive for their efforts throughout the year. Our talents complemented one another well, allowing us to speak our minds without offending one other. | would also like to thank Heather Love, the UPE! SU General Manager. She makes the Student Union an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere to work in. Last but not least, the rest of the office staff, who were the ones that kept us going. The long hours spent on medical rebates, rolling quarters, and answering crazy questions (hip hop party man). We still had time to laugh and enjoy being students. | will never forget my experiences with the Student Union. Thank you to everyone for the great effort put forth forging our path towards the future.
