XXVII. An Act for appropriating certian moneys therein mentioned, for the service ofthe year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five. _ [Passed April 3, 1865.] May it please your Excellency; fTE Her Majesty’s dutiful and loyal subjects, the \ House of Assembly of Prince EdWard Island towards appropriating the seVeral supplies raised for the exigencies of Her Majesty’s Government do humbly beseech that it may be enacted. And be it enacted by the Lieutenant Governor, Council and Assembly, that by and out of such moneys. as from time to time shall be and remain in the Public Trea- sury of this Island, there shall be allowed and paid for the services herein mentioned the several sums following: A sum not exceeding six thousand pounds for y the service of Roads, Bridges and Wharfs for the present year, the same to be appropriated to each County in the following manner: Queen’s County, including Charlottetown and loyalty, tWU thousand one hundred and twenty two pounds. King’s County one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine pounds. Prince County one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine pounds. Opening new road under Road Compensation Act one hundred Pounds. Contingent expenses offloadsfiridges and \Vharfs to be equally divided between the three Counties, three hundred pounds. And a sum of one hundred pounds to defray the cost of fuel for the Public Oflices. And a sum of one hundred pounds to defray the expenses of gas to the Public Buildings. And a sum of one thousand pounds, or as much thereof as may be required to defray the expenses of public printing and stationery for the present year. And a sum of two hundred pounds to defray the expenses of Boards ofllealth for the present year. And a sum oftwo hundred and fifty pounds to de- fray the expenses of Buoys and Beacons for the present year. And a sum of one thousand pounds to defray the expense of the following Lighthouses and Lights: Point Prim, Panmure Island, Richmond Bay, Cas- cumpec, Summerside, Saint Paul’s and Scatterie lslaud Lights and the Blockhouse Light, Charldt—te— .town. And a sum of five hundred pounds for erecting a. Lighthouse on North Cape. And a sum of seven hundred pounds, in addition to.the allowance by statute, to defray the incidental and contingent expenses of the Lunatic Asylum for the present year. And a sum of fifty four pounds for balance due on contract for repairs done to Lunatic Asylum. And a sum of four hundred and fifty pounds to de- fray the expenses of Crown Prosecutions and Ci’own Officers fees for Miscellaneous Services and Juries. And a sum of one hundred pounds to pay the ex- penses of Coroners’ Inquests. And a sum of twenty five pounds to defray the salary ofthe Harbor Master at Charlottetown. And a sum of fifty pounds for wages and fuel for the Guard at Government House for the present car. And a sum of fifty pounds to defray the salary and disbursements at the signal station at Charlotte-u town. And a stun of sixty pounds to pay the W'harfage ofthe Mail Steamers at Charlottetown for the present year. And a sum oftwenty pounds to pay the Wharflage of the Mail Steamers at Brule for the present year. And a sum of ninety five pounds to defray the Rent of the Bonded \‘Varehouse at Charlottetown and Summerside. And a sum of twenty five pounds to defray the expenses of election of a Member for Georgetown. And a sum oftwo hundred and fifty pounds to de— fray the expenses of Public Surveys and other ser» vices in connection with the Crown Land Office. And a sum of seventy five pounds to Legislative Library Committee for the purchase of Books, Maps and Atlases. i And a sum of seven hundred pounds to defray the expenses ofthe three County Jails. And a sum of ten pounds to pay the Medical at- tendant ofthe Queen’s County Jail. And a sum of six pounds to pay the Medical at- tendant ofthe Prince County Jail. And a sum of six pounds to pay the Medical at- tendant of King’s County Jail. And a sum of sixty pounds to pay the salary of the Keeper of the Queen’s County Jail. And a sum ofthirty pounds to pay the salary of the Keeper of the Prince County Jail.
