Mrs. Warren, who had reached the age of ninety-six years, was well known in Moncton, where she frequently had visited reltaives and frlendsr-Moncton Transcript. —LOBSTER SEASON OPENS -- At midnight on Monday, the lobster season on the South Shore opened and the fishermen started out with their traps. The lovely moonlight night was ideal for their task. Some waited until ‘dawn, but the most of the fishermen got underway short- ly after midnight. The lobster fac- tories liave opened up in prepara- tion for the first catch. It is said there are twice as many boats out this year than heretofore. There are about 30 boats at Borden, 25 at Cape ‘Traverse, 9 at Chelton and 30 at Victoria. These are mostly local fishermen, but there are a great many from Canso and Antigonish. Fifteen boats were lying ready in Summerside harbour. Along the coast from Fifteen Point and Eg- mont Bay to West Point there are over two hundred boats.
