Roll call was answered by 22 members and minutes were read. approved and signed. Correspond- ence was read and discussed and it was decided to canvass districts for Red Cross. Various comniit- tees then gave their reports. Mrs. Ford Wilson kindly in- vited the members to meet at her home for the next meeting, with roll call to be answered by a Joke or paying a fine. Collection amounted to SL4-i. A contest was then put on by Mrs. I-Iaroid Donahue and the meeting closed with the National Anthem. Lunch was served and a social hour was spent. BRACKLEY POINT W. I. Mrs. George Hughes entertained the Brackley Point Institute on Thursday evening. Mai-ch lath. Tlilrteen members responded to the roll call by passing in an art- icle for a fish pond. This feature was carried out later in the evening and 53.25 was realized. Two sick calls were made during the month and two thiink' you cards received. Bills were paid for fruit, music, and small iccessiti s for the school.
