ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR.-In past years sundry objections have been raised from different quarters and individuals re the number of inoiiiitcliaiiks and .stall-keepers with temptations for the fleecing of ambitious Init foolish _voiitli, who have occupied stances round the Exhibition grounds. LARGE SHARK CAPTURED. - While overhaullng their herring nets Thursday morning. Mr. C. F. Miller and his sou Clayton, found a large shark tangled up in thorn. Dog fish have been fairly plentiful of late and when they found their net so heavy they at first thought it was full'of them. Great was their surprise, how- ever, when the shark, not yet dead. came to the surface. After strenuous efforts they were able to get it into their boat. A shark in these waters is an uncommon occurrence and many curious spectators came from quite a distance to see it. It being election day Mr. Miller had the shark driven to' . MOHd&ye the poll at Crapaud, the returning of- ficer, however, ruled him out, yet lie was admired by the many people who were attending the election.
