WHIM ROAD CROSS.-At the Whim Road Cross School meeting, the matter of changing, the name 0.. that settlement came up for discuss-‘ ion and among -severe/1 names propos- ed it was finally agreed to adopt tho name "Kilmuir.” This name was suggested by one of the most influ- ential men of the community, Mr. John McKay, in honor of the native home of the pioneers ol the settle ment.
