Hold Meeting In Montague ..'On Thursday night the Truck- men's Association held a rally at Montague with the president, Mr. Russel Maclntyre. presiding. The secretary, L B. Stanley, reed the minutes of the lest meeting which were approved as read. The treasurer. Edward Brown. present- er the financial report of the As- sociation. ‘line president, Mr. Maclntyre. said in part that present trucking rates were low in comparison with the prevailing cost of living. He went on to cite the high cost of trucks, the heavy expenditure for replacements, and the high ex- pense of operation. Mr. Brown urged the formation of sub-com- mittees so that the dues in each county might be collected by local representatives.
